Project Configuration (Tab: Project)

It's not possible anymore to create configurations for specific Jira projects. The new project tab provides configuration for the SAP Project.

If fields in the project configuration are left empty, the values of the global configuration will be used.

In addition to the global configuration fields there is a input field to select a project and an input field for a description.

The only required field is project.

1 SAP project overview

2 Add project configuration

  • Description - A good description helps to find it in the overview
  • SAP System - You can add multiple configurations from the system tab to the project

  • SAP Project - Defines the project name in SAP

3 Delete project

Select the project in the overview and click the -Icon on the right.

System Configuration (Tab: System) - since Version 1.1

1 System overview

2 Add system configuration

The system configuration looks very similar to the global configuration, but here it is not possible to change the custom fields.

Input fields that are left empty will be ignored and taken from the global configuration instead.

  • Description - A good description helps to find it in the overview
  • SAP Target System - SAP System that should be connected
  • URL - URL to SAP Interface
  • Client

3 Delete system configuration

Select the system in the overview and click the -Icon on the right.

If a system is deleted, it will be removed from the project configurations. However, the project configurations will stay.

If a project has no system configuration left, a hint will be shown in the poject overview.

User Configuration (Tab: User)

1 Mapping from SAP Usernames to Jira Users

Since Version 0.3: When no SAP Username is defined it.JTMS will send the Jira username instead.
